S-CURVE RELAUNCHES AS FULL SERVICE MUSIC COMPANY FEATURING RECORDED MUSIC, MUSIC PUBLISHING, ARTIST MANAGEMENT AND BROAD SPECTRUM DIGITAL CAPABILITIES

Label Bows with Planned Releases By Newcomers We The Kings and Music Legend Tom Jones

New York, NY (July 16, 2007) - After nearly a two and a half year hiatus, S-Curve - the record label that launched the career of Joss Stone and brought the world such hits as "Stacy's Mom" and "Who Let the Dogs Out" - will re-launch as a full service music company, it was announced today by company founder and CEO, Steve Greenberg. In its new incarnation, the company broadens its business scope adding music publishing, artist management and complete digital capabilities to its original business of selling master recordings. The label counts two initial artists on its new roster -- alternative pop/rock band We The Kings and music icon Tom Jones and returns with much of its original staff including the veteran record executive and Grammy Award winning producer Greenberg and Steve Yegelwel, who rejoins the company after serving a stint at Columbia Records as Senior Vice President, A&R.

S-Curve's philosophy is that in the present and future music business, recorded music, music publishing and artist management are, in effect, all one business designed to launch and develop artists. Toward that end, S-Curve will not only be releasing We The Kings' debut album, but have also signed a worldwide music publishing agreement with the band, while S-Curve's agreement with Tom Jones gives the company the opportunity to become involved in a broad spectrum of licensing and sponsorship deals. Forays in the area of artist management are currently taking shape and will be announced shortly but will include acquiring interest in established management companies, as well as signing management deals directly with artists.

"Through our multifaceted structure, S-Curve Records is committed to producing the best in new music and showcasing artists' talent through more extensive industry range," said Greenberg. "S-Curve will once again prove to be a tremendous force in the music world as a one-stop shop for artists to bring their music to the fans."

The label's first venture in the world of online marketing is its equity stake in Nabbr, a company which creates and distributes dynamic viral video players on the social web (My Space, etc.) which are spread from fan to fan, providing a steady stream of programming and consumer goods, including video, audio, tour dates/personal appearance information, contests, merchandise sales and chat with fans. Nabbr currently provides its services to numerous record labels and has done campaigns for major artists, including Justin Timberlake, the Beatles, 30 Seconds to Mars, Amy Winehouse and many others. S-Curve's own artists will be working closely with Nabbr's development team to create cutting edge applications of its technology. Greenberg serves as Chairman of Nabbr.

"Having worked with the team from S-Curve in the past, I believe there is no one in the business with more focus and long term dedication to developing new artists," said We The Kings' manager Bret Disend, of Crush Management (who also handles Boys Like Girls and Metro Station). "They've always had an incredible batting average with regard to breaking artists"

In its first incarnation, S-Curve Records was founded in 2000 and entered the market with a bang with its first major release "Who Let the Dogs Out" by Baha Men. The album (marketed in conjunction with Artemis Records), went on to sell four million albums worldwide, win a Grammy Award, and become a pop culture phenomenon. In 2002, Greenberg and S-Curve entered into a multi-faceted deal with EMI Music. While at EMI, artists on the S-Curve imprint sold over nine million albums packed with hits such as "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne and the first two albums by British soul singer Joss Stone. In fact, S-Curve's final release, Joss Stone's "Mind Body and Soul," was the label's best seller, topping four million units worldwide as well as garnering three Grammy Award nominations. In total, artists on the S-Curve label sold more than 13 million albums worldwide during its first five-year run.

Two and a half years later, S-Curve is back with a wider range of trade initiatives to make certain its artists maximize on their talent while ensuring fans get the best in new music. In believing that artist inception and advancement is all part of the bigger picture of recording, publishing, and managing, S-Curve stands as a full service music company with unmatched capabilities.
